Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE — fill in before publishing]

This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data when you use the NLBL Converter service (the "Service"), operated by [YOUR NAME / COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us").

1. Files you upload

When you upload a .nlbl/.nsln file, it is decrypted and processed entirely in memory to build a preview. We do not write uploaded files, decrypted contents, or rendered images to a database or persistent disk storage. Between your browser's requests (e.g. "inspect" then "update preview"), the decrypted content is sent back to your own browser and returned to our server with your next request — we do not keep a server-side copy of it between requests.

Because the Service does not persist your files, we cannot recover them for you later, and we have nothing to hand over or delete on request beyond what is described below (infrastructure logs).

2. Infrastructure logs

Our hosting provider ([e.g. Render.com — fill in if this changes]) may keep standard technical logs of incoming requests for a limited time (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested path, response status) for operational purposes such as debugging and abuse prevention. We do not independently log the contents of your uploaded files.

3. Cookies and tracking

The Service itself does not set cookies, use local storage for tracking, or run any analytics/advertising scripts. Our hosting provider or CDN may use minimal technical cookies required to operate the infrastructure.

4. Third-party services

The page loads the JSZip library from a third-party CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) to let you download multiple rendered images as a single .zip file. Loading this script may expose your IP address to that CDN, subject to its own privacy practices.

5. Payment information (if applicable)

If you pay for the Service, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider (e.g. [Stripe — fill in]). We do not receive or store your full card details ourselves.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you (for example, billing contact details, if you are a paying customer). Since we do not store your uploaded label files, there is generally nothing file-related to delete. To exercise these rights, contact us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL].

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact
