Terms of Service
Last updated: [DATE — fill in before publishing]
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NLBL Converter service (the "Service"), operated by [YOUR NAME / COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
The Service lets you upload label design files (.nlbl,
.nsln) that you already have lawful access to, view a
rendered preview of the label formats contained in the file, optionally
edit text and barcode/QR field values, and download the resulting
images. The Service does not create label designs from scratch and does
not print labels.
2. Not affiliated with NiceLabel or Zebra Technologies
The Service is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to NiceLabel, Loftware, Zebra Technologies, or any of their affiliates. "NiceLabel", "ZebraDesigner", and related names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe file compatibility.
3. Your responsibilities
- You must have the legal right to upload, view, and edit any file you submit to the Service. You are solely responsible for the files you upload and for ensuring you are not infringing any third party's rights (copyright, trademark, trade secret, or contractual) by doing so.
- You will not use the Service to upload malware, attempt to overload or abuse the infrastructure (e.g. automated bulk scraping), or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- You are responsible for reviewing any rendered output before relying on it — the Service is a best-effort preview tool and may not perfectly reproduce how a label prints on physical hardware.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or accuracy of rendered output. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any given time (in particular, the free hosting tier may take up to a minute to respond after a period of inactivity).
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
6. Files are not stored on our servers
The Service is designed to be stateless: uploaded files are decrypted and processed in memory to generate a preview, and are not persisted to a database or long-term storage by us. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION — fill in before publishing], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
